Friends, often, it's quite scientifically easy to blow off the concept of our Spiritual existence. So in order to keep this forum alive, let me remind all of those of us who are over 40 physical years of age:
A young, and brilliant group of boys, from Liverpool England, who were very gifted in Spiritual things, wrote a song, in 1966, that, still to this day, reminds us of our search. Let us not forget what they had to say to us:
Turn off your mind, relax
and float down stream
It is not dying
It is not dying
Lay down all thought
Surrender to the void
It is shining
It is shining
That you may see
The meaning of within
It is being
It is being
That love is all
And love is everyone
It is knowing
It is knowing
That ignorance and hate
May mourn the dead
It is believing
It is believing
But listen to the
color of your dreams
It is not living
It is not living
Or play the game
existence to the end
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
I, personally believe what they had to say, was truth! (not to mention their excellent performance!)
It is not dying; it is believing. Thank you, John Lennon!

What an uplifting song Jeff and thanks for posting it! I especially like what the last stanza of that song says and it's a poignant reminder that John Lennon was indeed a very spiritual person and in so many ways, wise beyond his years!
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Estee! I only wish it was me that said, and performed, those concepts.
You're right! John Lennon was very spiritual! His words, and music have influenced the world!
One thing... I met Louise Harrison! Yup, George Harrison's sister! She calls herself Lou. Lou kindly asked me to sit on a chair in front of her.
I took the chair. As I sat there, I explained that I have always adored George's work; and because of George, I Learned guitar.
I told her that her brother was sorely missed! Lou looked at me, and leaned forward; grabbed me by the back of the neck; and held me close for more than 60 seconds.
Well, my wife was watching me hold Louise Harrison! (Yeah, I held her back! Like, No? It was the sister of a Beatle!)
My wife told me "I was about to break y'all up!". No, she understood, and was laughing!
Well, Lou was the gentle representation of dear George. I held, in my arms, the sister of a Beatle.
Now, I would be remiss if I didn't provide this link. This is the very first rock and roll 'video' performance of all time.
Ladies, and Gentlemen, it is my pleasure to introduce to you, "The Beatles:"
Oh! Alright! I'm not Ed Sullivan! Seriously, it's nice to present to the forum a good spiritual feeling. After all, we here on earth, have souls too!

Hi Jeff! What a sweet story and thanks for sharing!
Now that I think about it, I don't believe I've ever even seen a photograph of any of the siblings of the Beatles. But Harrison's sister sounds like a very nice person and great that you and wife had an opportunity to meet her in person!
Thanks for the link too! Looks like a good one!

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for the lyrics and Song of the Beatles, truly inspirational!! I love listening to their music. It must have been very interesting meeting Louise Harrison! I agree what they brought was truth.
Take care,

Thanks Estee! Sorry for the delay in responding. Louise now promotes a live act of young gentlemen who portray the Beatles' career from 1963 to 1970. They are called the "Liverpool Legends". They are very good!
Here's the link, showing pictures of Louise and George at the Ed Sullivan introduction of The Beatles to America, and also here current appearance at 75 years old. God bless her!
BTW: She gave my wife and I an autographed B&W photo of that event!

All the best!

Interesting to meet Lou? Well, you see, she was a living icon representing the most influencial music of all time since The Beatles invaded America! I would look at her face, and suddenly see the faces of all the members of the band; the movies; the mania; and even hear the music in my head and heart. This is a woman that stood by and watched: Diamonds in the sky form Lucy; the perpetual formation of fields of strawberries; Mother Mary advising to let things just be; and, most of all, the first to know "all you need is love".
One thing I have to say is, when our hug finally broke up; she looked at me with a real sister's caring eyes, and she said, "You know, Jeff, George lived in love. Whenever we were together for whatever reason, George said to pass the love along. So I do. I pass along my love, and his love to you".

What else can I say?
Blessings, and I pass George and Lou's love to all of you!
Jeff

Thank-you so much Jeff! And there's no doubt about it, The Beatles music was generated from and traveled on the channel of LOVE. George Harrison, in my view, was the vortex from which that LOVE sprang forth.
In his own quiet and humble way, he was the emotional, psychological and spiritual anchor of that group and ever since I first saw him in those televised performances way back when I was a kid, he was the one that I was the most drawn too.
That Lennon and McCartney ended up being the most popular of this group always perplexed me because, to me, the enigma of GH was always so much more interesting and intriguing than anyone else in that grp. -- where there's no question in my mind that as time goes by, music historians will finally acknowledge that GH was the "glue" of the Beatles in ways only those members of that group and those close to them were aware of yet could could not express verbally--
except by MUSIC.
-- which they managed to do in all it's full glory -- GH WAS THEIR INSPIRATION. He was their MUSE and he was their SOUL. Without him, The Beatles would never have developed into the phenomenon that they became -- and still ARE.

I've just moved from Northwich in Cheshire, England to Minnesota, USA.
It's little known, but the Beatles first case of 'Beatlemania' was at the Memorial Hall in Northwich. These local guys were booked to play a few of their songs, much like any other good band of the time. However, this particular band had just scored their first Number 1 in the week before they were to appear.
The occasion, was the yearly Rose Queen crowning, a popular town event where some pretty girl would have a crown placed on her head by someone perhaps partly in the public eye.
Crowds of fans lined the streets, the windows of the Hall and, all around, the buzz was apparently tremendous...The Beatles were IN town !
So the story goes, the lads kept to their duties and crowned the Rose Queen in hurried fashion, before being escorted quickly and safely from the premises.
Northwich also forms the backdrop of my introduction to spirit rescue, my friendship with 2 eminent psychics leading to possible realisations of personal abilities. The two ladies, Jackie and Christine, now present Rescue Mediums on WeTV.
The Beatles themselves have been an inspiration for me musically...sort of like the K.I.S.S. approach (keep it simple stupid). Works of lyrical art and no draping of melodrama into the song writing. Elegance would be the word.
In fact, I follow that line in equipment I build at the moment for paranormal work....so your great reminder of influence and reality from John there, is certainly poignant to our studies

Thanks Slide. I am an electrical engineer, and am working on electronic devices as well! But, physics alone are simply not enough, as you have well recognized (recognised) .
An understanding of physics is our key to a documentable, scientific, approach to contact. And we must adhere to recogniz(s)ed methods to make our proof.
But, on the other hand, love must come first. Without love, our work is just pen, paper, and a calculator. I don't believe any self respecting Spirit would help us with that mindset.
Thanks again, Slide. Your support, and belief, ramps up the positive energy here that the Fab 4 already set the 'stage' for!
Cheers!

Oh, thank you Estee! George was a peach, wasn't he? Yup, the quiet, incredible guitarist, and influence of Spirituality! He inspired me to take up the guitar when I was six! That alone, placed his position of adoration in my heart...forever! (You've heard me play. There's a good probability I would never have learned to play at all without George's influence!).
Your comments on George's gentle, humble kindness is truth! He certainly was such a person. Any recorded interview will prove that.
And...yes. I agree, Estee, that the spirituality of GH was a corner stone for the other members; but they all connected together Spiritually.
That, is what made them so creative; successful; and, most of all, allowed them, by what I consider, Divine Inspiration, to play to our souls!

Estee, be careful what you ask for! You will end up a pool of mush right there on your floor. And you also just may fall in love! Ask to hear Ville'.
The Beatles have a way of speaking to our souls, don't they? There are those people who, when they speak, you absolutely know that somehow they have access to a far bigger truth than the average person. You can not help but listen to what they say because you know it's importance and that it is the truth. Fab! Simply Fab!

Wow! Can't wait to hear Jeff's music! Am definitely looking forward to that! Thanks Babs!
And that's so true what you said about The Beatles and to this day I still marvel at how they came up with their music and lyrics whereby starting up a FAB new "sound" in popular music that prior to that, was never done or heard before -- and I'm convinced that at some point in time before they became famous, they came up with what they did through some kind of divine intervention where they were permitted to tap into a cosmic information stream that communicated this new and different kind of music -- which includes those lyrics they came up with too -- where it was communicated to them on an unconscious level..... This information stream is not unheard of especially in the world of music, art and science. IMHO, The Beatles were definitely tapped into that -- a cosmic channel of Joy and Love!

Thank you, what a heart warming story. Lou's response that "George lived in love" is so wonderful. Thank you for passing that love along, I will do the same and right back at you .
Take care,
Lynn
