Date: 06 September, 2012
Location: Thai Public Hospital Morgue
Time: 22:00HRS +/-
Equipment: 5 year old Nokia cell phone using audio recorder function
Setting: One mortician, three rescue officers in the morgue lifting two bodies out of the refrigerators onto spinal boards for transport. Very little communication ongoing between us and NO sounds like heard on these clips were audible at the time of recording.

Details:

Ok... this clip you will hear some laughter and then a loud "HOOO!" right into the microphone.

this clip you will hear the sound of a pickup truck engine as it's reversing up to the door to load the bodies. after the engine revving, you will hear a spirit voice say (in Thai) "Baoo Ching Ching", which in English translation means "Very quiet noise, indeed". i guess the spirit was surprised by the muffler sound of the truck and expecting a louder noise maybe?

this clip you will hear a crackling sound... followed by a spirit shouting "Oayyy!" which we in Thai say when we're hurt, injured, suprsied, etc. - much like your English "OWW!"... follwed by more crackling sounds. none of this was of course heard by our ears during the recording of this clip.

this clip you will hear me talking, followed by two loud slams - the mortician slamming the refrigerator doors where the bodies are kept... then a spirit voice sighs "Oayyy!" as if it's exasperated? or upset at the impolite way the mortician was slamming the doors.

this clip we were unable to decipher what was being said, but you will clearly hear the anger in the voice with emphasis on the last word like shouting.

this clip you will hear some general spirit voice "chatter". my phone was lying completely still on the embalming table and nobody in the room at the time (other than whoever spirits were making these conversations!).

this clip, the final in my session, we are all saying "good-bye" to one another and then you will hear a higher pitched voice come over ours and say something unclear.. perhaps a good-bye to us as well.
