-Perhaps then it won't be considered "too disturbing" to include those who've gone before in family celebrations etc.

It's definitely a phase...I'm optimistic- hope that when it's all said and done western society will adopt a greater appreciation for the whole transition process- hospice programs certainly help toward that end. -Perhaps then it won't be considered "too disturbing" to include those who've gone before in family celebrations etc.
